Comparator Schools for 今日吃瓜
To support strategic planning and institutional assessment, 今日吃瓜 maintains a list of comparator institutions that was updated in 2022 based on similarities in size, mission, finances, location, graduation rates, and other characteristics. This list contains 30 institutions that are used for comparison when data are readily available from public databases. A core group of 12 institutions are used for more detailed benchmarks of academic and operational comparisons. This list was developed by Institutional Research in collaboration with senior leadership using sources such as IPEDS, the NSF, College Scorecard, and admissions data. It is regularly reviewed and used to inform planning, goal-setting, and evaluation.
